End To End Take 2

Here we go again!  The old plan was dusted-off, all trains booked, all accommodation reserved and with my injuries well on the mend, Peter and I start again on 1 August.  The principles were the same as for Take 1.  The planned stages are set out in the table below, with travel to Penzance and back from Wick by train.  Despite my crash on the last attempt I used my Galaxy.

Peter rigged-up his bike with equipment which is linked to a system which could be interrogated using the short messaging facility on digital mobile phones.  Many friend and relatives did this and my Father plotted our progress several times a day on the map on his study wall.
